Business Change Analyst

Job Description:

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

  • Support business system rollout process across company portfolio from specification to implementation. 
  • Use Agile and Waterfall principles to capture the requirements and gain a deep understanding of what the business needs 
  • Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is up to date. 
  • Work with the Product Owner and/or Delivery Manager to establish and maintain a prioritised product, programme or project backlog of what needs to be built. 
  • Management of system maintenance and technical support throughout the organisation  
  • Identification of system improvement opportunities and variations.  
  • Maintain and improve system functionality and integrity through third party liaison with external software development partner.  
  • Ensure system infrastructure reliability through third party liaison with internal Global IT infrastructure team.  
  • Attainment of in-depth understanding of the company management business system infrastructure. 
  • Assisting with systems integrations between complimentary business systems to improve performance and increase efficiency.  
  • Assisting with the production and maintenance of technical and functional system documentation suite.  
  • Delivery of system functionality training.  
  • Provision of planning support to system implementation teams.  
  • Preparation and adherence to maintenance plans and upgrade schedules in consultation with wider stakeholder groups.  

 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 

  • Possessing specialist knowledge of business systems (SAP or equivalent), applications and software. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a technical or business field is required with intermediate to advanced knowledge of business process frameworks.  
  • Should have proven experience in preparing and presenting project proposals, technical reports, technical procedures and training materials. 
  • Possessing specialist knowledge of IT systems.  
  • Should have experience working within ERP/MRP software.  
  • Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited systems and IT knowledge.  
  • Good knowledge of core commercial management principles (Estimation, Reporting etc.).  
  • Working knowledge of project management methods.  
  • Must demonstrate project management skills including initial scoping, estimating, planning, scheduling, risk management, execution, deliverables and budgeting.  
  • An excellent understanding of all Microsoft applications.
